HTC had thrilled many people when last year they purchased 50% of Beats Audio shares. This meant that the HTC smartphones would come with Beats Audio software and Beats headphones, which are considered to be one of the best in the market. Well the goods new didn’t seem to last very long, as recently both companies have decided to part ways.  This little drift must have started when HTC decided to stop packing in the beats.

The separation according to the company is a realignment, but just looks to be heading in their separate paths. Beats now have alot more flexibility, to go global, which was not possible when HTC was holding on to 50% of the shares.

So this might be the boring part, but i thought you would like to know, so after Beats repurchasing their 25% shares for 150 million from HTC, making them majority share holders having 75% of the total shares.

This agreement between the companies, though will open doors ways for many of the high-end sound improvement apps available in the Play Store to rise up, and pairing with good quality headphones, you can very well get the same, or in some cases even better sound quality. So what do you guys think, is this news good or bad? I’ll leave that for you to decide.
