Playing with Selective Focus using the Samsung GALAXY S5 – [Pictures]
When the Samsung GALAXY S5 was announced, one of the major attractions of Samsung’s flagship device of 2014 was most certainly the devices 16MP camera with a number of added features that include the likes of Selective focus, improved HDR and a bunch of other additions to its predecessor, the GALAXY S4. As mentioned earlier, the selective focus option helps users take a photo and select where the actual focus is later. This can blur the background to make the subject stand out (like the two chess pieces shown in the pic). This feature works, but it requires a learning curve to get the distances right and may require users to take the photo multiple times. Even we had to work our magic a number of times but eventually managed to get some pretty amazing snaps using the selective focus option.
Enough said, now its time for you guys to decide how the pics actually look and for those of you who own the S5 or are planning on buying one anytime soon would get a better idea of the actual potential of the device’s camera after looking at these pics.
