Samsung have faced a decrease in smartphone sales this year. A lot of people were hoping that this would spark a change in the development of their next year’s flagship device. Rumors of a “Project Zero” were indicating that Samsung might be building the next device from scratch. (Fingers crossed for that!)

Talking about the name of the device, SamMobile have confirmed that the next flag ship will be called  the Samsung Galaxy 6 (go figure). There will also be a Galaxy S6 Edge variant, seeing how curved displays are the way to go these days. The S6 Edge will most probably have a display similar to the Galaxy Note Edge.

Heading to the hardware department, the Galaxy S6 would be having a Quad HD (2560×1440) display, 64-bit Exynos 7420/Snapdragon 810 processor, 16/20-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera and 32/64/128GB storage. The software side of things would include Samsung’s very own TouchWiz, with the new Theme engine running on top of Android 5.0 Lollipop.

The device is sure looking like a beast of a phone, though only time will tell, if it is or is not! All are just rumors at this point, so do take this all in with a pinch of salt.
